From February 19th to February 27th, enjoy the annual and binational fiesta that celebrates the Mexican heritage on both sides of the Rio Grande Valley!

Charro Days is a celebration between two border cities, Brownsville, Texas, and Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Every year, we receive more than 50,000 attendees.
This fiesta, includes daily parades, food, music, contests, and the Sombrero Festival!

This year, our Charro Days festivities will count on the presence of Mr. Amigo 2022, the award-winning actress and singer Bianca Marroquín!
Mr. Amigo is a title given to a Mexican citizen who had contributed to the friendship of the United States and Mexico. The Mr. Amigo honoree has been recognized during the Charro Days Fiesta since 1969, and continues to be an integral part of this celebration!

The Fiesta is not over! When we say this is the most fun time of the year, we mean it! In addition to our parade, delicious food, and contests, our Charro Days also include the Sombrero Festival!
Since 1986, Sombrero Festival has enhance the spirit of Charro Days through family-friendly events. From Tortilla Frisbee Toss to Live Music events with classic rock, country, and cover bands!
