48th International Art Show Opening Reception

We are pleased to present the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art’s 48th International Art Show. The Brownsville Art League, founders of the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art, organized the first International in 1973.

Christina Rees is the Selection and Awards Juror for 2023. Known statewide and nationally because of her insightful reviews for Glasstire, the Village Voice, the Dallas Morning News, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and other publications. She was the owner and director of Road Agent Gallery in Dallas before serving as curator of Fort Worth Contemporary Arts. Rees was a recipient of the Rabkin Prize, a national $50k award for outstanding arts writing.
