Communities In Schools of Cameron County (CISCC) is an evidence-based drop-out prevention program servicing at-risk youth. The mission of CISCC is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. For this to actually happen, CISCC offers students and families a variety of services such as; supportive guidance, health and human services, parental and family involvement, pre-employment/employment, enrichment, and educational enhancement.
For the above to take place, CISCC invites you to promote your business/company at our 9th Annual Fundraiser “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! The objective of this “now famous” fundraiser event is to seek support and funds for the continuation of CISCC’s mission, goals, and objectives in serving the community, especially at-risk youth. At the same time, this event will offer a fun time for females (ages, 21 and above) to share and learn about local businesses, pamper themselves, and offer local businesses/companies an opportunity to grow in our community.
The “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Fundraiser” will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the Brownsville Events Center in Brownsville, Texas. The event will introduce approximately 500 women to local businesses offering: beauty, massages, and spa services; variety of vendors; music, food, and beverages.
