Palmito Ranch Battlefield National Historic Landmark
Volunteer trash pickup and behind-the-scenes tour of new interpretive platforms (with free water bottle, water, and snacks!). Includes time to learn about the battle and ecology of the area. Meet 16 miles east of Brownsville on State Hwy 4 (Boca Chica Blvd), near the battlefield monument.
