These points can be redeemed for exclusive prizes, creating a sense of excitement and engagement among the community. Locals and visitors use the BTX Passport to explore downtown—discovering restaurants, bars, shops, attractions, and events.
How Does it Work?

Start by scanning the QR code at the bottom of this card to sign up for your own BTX Downtown mobile passport.
Step 2:
Setup Your Account
Setup your new account using your personal information to start earning points in the mobile passport experience.
Step 3:
Receive Your Passport
Your mobile pass will be instantly delivered to your phone via text and email. Ready to use; there is no app to download.
Step 4:
Check-In; Get Rewarrds
When visiting one of the participating businesses, scan the QR code provided to redeem exclusive discounts and earn points.
Step 5:
Redeem Your Points
Complete the challenge of visiting all of the participating businesses to earn a unique prize redeemable during First Friday Events.

Not at all, participation is completely free! Simply sign up for the digital passport on your phone and start earning points when you visit participating businesses.
Simply scan the Brownsville Downtown Passport QR code provided at each participating location.
In the Rewards tab, you will see all available prizes. Each prize has a point value associated with it. Once you earn the required amount of points to redeem a prize, you will be able to click the “Claim Now” button for that prize. After claiming a prize, that amount of points will be deducted from your earned point total.
Yes, your points do expire. You can check your how many points you have and when they expire on your pass app.
Manual check-ins can be applied by contacting our support team. Our team typically requests a picture taken at the location and the date of your visit to validate a manual check-in. Please note: visits made prior to ordering the pass are not eligible for a manual check in.
Prizes are going to be redeemed in person at every First Friday event every first Friday of every month.
